everis foundation opens the inscriptions for the Empreenda Saúde Award in Brazil
Inscriptions for the fifth edition of the Award can be submitted until 29 July. In addition to receiving specialized advice for this project, the winner will be awarded a prize of R$ 50,000 and will represent Brazil in the international competition in Spain.
The everis foundation, which seeks to support and promote entrepreneurship in different areas of society, opens the call for the Empreenda Saúde Award 2019. This fifth edition aims to stimulate professionals from different areas to develop projects able to contribute to the improvement of practices, processes, technologies and management methods in the health field.
‘Our Award is currently a market benchmark as we attract new startup solutions with the objective of transforming national health. I believe we contribute to generating effective income opportunities in the national market, with projects that seek to improve patient care and the management of health companies, as well as to improve services’, declares Roberto Pereira, Innovation Initiatives Manager in everis Brazil.
The participants may be startups from any place in Brazil, and they will present their projects in these three categories:
- Improvement in the quality of hospital efficiency: promotion of patient commitment and experience in the hospital context, contributing to care and operational processes.
- Direct patient orientation: with attention to the prevention, treatment and monitoring of the conditions of people with some illness or disability.
- Impact on the health network: projects focused on health in the management, process and intelligence domains.
More than 200 projects were received in the last edition. According to Pereira, many projects submitted in previous editions won other prizes later and made significant contributions to the market. ‘This proves that our proposal of connecting innovative ideas with the main actors in the sector has contributed to the development of health in Brazil’, he states.
