On 7 October 2009 everis Foundation held the presentation of the everis Entrepreneurs and Essay Awards at the Casino de Madrid. The event began at 12:00 noon and was attended by Eduardo Serra, president of the Foundation and the former prime minister, Felipe González, who spoke on "Spain - between the European Union and Latin America".

The minister of education, Ángel Gabilondo, presented the awards of this edition.
