We encourage entrepreneurial thinking
everis Foundation has presented the 2009 award winning essay: “The end of the crisis?” written by Leopoldo Torralba, Ignacio de la Torre and Barbara Huerta, all of them teachers at IE Business School and specialists in economics, finance and accounting, respectively.
The text delves into the causes of the current economic crisis in its different aspects (accounting, fiscal policies and economic) focusing on the Spanish case and in the recipes to be applied to reach the end of the crisis. Despite the negative nature of any crisis, the authors of the work provide a point of optimism, claiming the social value of good business men and entrepreneurial activity under the idea that the best antidote is the development of new businesses, the creation of new companies and innovation.
The authors hope that the book provides the reader with clarity and therefore suggest strategies for entrepreneurs and financial institutions on what may be the future of global and Spanish banking. The text is also aimed at politicians, students and graduated in economics and professional in general who want to know aspects related with the investment of savings, level of expenditure and future debt.
