The DMR Consulting Foundation holds the annual Essay Prize to encourage reflection and sharing of knowledge on Information Technologies. Companies and individuals alike are increasingly caught up in the economy of relations, knowledge and creativity, influenced by Information.

Technologies that have paved the way for new models of education, leisure and welfare, making for easier relations between the State and its community, improving quality of life.

The competition, with a prize of 30, 000 euros, may be entered with essays in English, Spanish or any of the official languages in which DMR Consulting has Legal Status, reflecting on any of the various impacts or issues of public policy arising from the Digital Economy, insofar as it is assimilated by companies, individuals, communities or society.

The Essay must provide an innovative insight into the crucial role played by Information Technologies as a means for bringing about this economic transformation.
