The DMR Consulting Foundation has decided to award a Prize which encourages the emergence of new entrepreneurs endorsed or discovered by well-known, leading academics and which provides funding for business projects which are clearly innovative, viable and beneficial to society.

The DMR Consulting Foundation considers it necessary to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship at universities and within scientific spheres in Spain, which stand out because of the fundamental quality of their research but which lack the business talent needed to put projects of commercial value into practice.

In order to help respond to this need in Spanish society, the DMR Consulting Foundation has allocated a financial provision to this “Academic Entrepreneurs” Prize and, has also decided to get involved in the development of the projects that win each year, by contributing its knowledge and cooperation during the initial stages.
