The Articles of Association of the everis Foundation (Section I, Article 3) state that its objectives are: To encourage, promote and undertake training, research and the recycling of professionals -at all levels- within the field of Information Technologies". 

The beneficiaries, who are also responsible for the execution of the Foundation’s activities, are the following: 

Beneficiaries: 

  • University students and lecturers/Professors. 
  • Public and private Research centres. 
  • Professionals from the field of technology in general

Essay Prize

The everis Foundation promotes reflection and research through its annual Essay Prize and the launching of an innovative scheme known as “Seed Capital” aimed at interdisciplinary centres of study and thought.

The Foundation also foments the creation and diffusion of knowledge by sponsoring University Chairs and Master’s Degrees, as well as a series of publications.

Academic Entrepreneurs Prize

The everis Foundation is organising the 2010 Academic Entrepreneurs Prize competition.

The purpose of the prize is to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship in university and scientific spheres in Spain and to provide funding for business projects which are clearly innovative, viable and beneficial for society.

The aim of the projects presented will be the creation and operation of a new company with separate legal status, which consists in the application of innovations in Information Technologies in any of the different disciplines of the Information Society.

Sponsorship of University Chairs

These chairs will include the name of everis and holders will undertake research work in areas of interest to everis. The Foundation will provide advice regarding the design of new degree courses or subjects related to its fields of research.

The Foundation is a forum where everis employees can fully develop their potential and skills, providing not only opportunities for self-fulfilment, but also offering them the chance to put their desire to serve the community into practice.
The Foundation is a community of ideals that facilitates individual involvement, and which values and appreciates participation and whose goal is a job well done at the service of the community.

Sponsorship of University Schools / Faculties

These Faculties/ Schools include the everis trading name and will undertake research work in areas of interest to everis.

The Foundation will advise the School/ Faculty in the design of new degree programmes or subjects related to their fields of research.

Sponsorship of master’s degrees or private specialisation courses

This sponsorship takes the form of specific financing for grants for the study of Information Technologies, as well as the voluntary participation of everis staff in planning, developing and teaching these courses. 

This voluntary line of action also extends to subjects and seminars designed by the everis Chairs.

Publications

The Foundation will develop a line of publications in collaboration with leading scientific publishing houses, which will include the winner and runners-up of the Essay Prize, lectures sponsored by the Foundation and any works of editorial interest arising from the scientific activity of the everis L@bs or Chairs.

This area of activity will seek to combine scientific originality and accuracy with the educational facet of the works presented for publication.
