6: Protection of Personal Data 

Purpose of Data Processing 

We would like to inform those people that provide us with their personal information, through an email or another media via this web page, that his/her data will be incorporated into the records or databases of Everis Foundation, for the following purposes:

• Managing the notification and awarding of prizes.  In order to take part in a specific competition, the user must send an e-mail to our address (fundacion@everis.com), indicating at least his/her name, surname, project name, city of residence and university to which s/he is affiliated (except for the Essay prize, since the Plica process guarantees the anonymity of the proposals through pseudonyms). These details are necessary and obligatory for Everis Foundation to be able to monitor the candidates entered into the various competitions and to maintain a necessary level of communication with the candidates, notwithstanding the user's additional obligation to present his/her project in the head office of the Foundation.  If you were to be awarded the prize, personal details relating to your name, surname, academic education, professional experience, publications or studies carried out, current place of employment and position and photograph, that you may or may not provide us with, will be published and disseminated on this web site.
• Carrying out statistical studies.
• Sending you information related to Everis Foundation's activities that could be of interest to you, such as, and this should not be treated as an exhaustive list, announcement of competitions, news, events, newsletters, conferences, publications etc. 
• IP Addresses: From the time that the user accesses this web site, his/her Internet address may be registered in our machines in the form of LOG files (historical).  Consequently the user will leave a trace of the IP address that in each session his/her access provider will have assigned him/her, therefore, every request, question, visit or link to an element on a web site may be registered. Notwithstanding the above, LOG files are anonymous (i.e. they do not identify the name and surname of the user) and they will only be used for internal purposes such as the carrying out of statistical studies, and to monitor web site usage.  

Third Parties Data
In the event that the user provides Everis Foundation, through any media, with personal data referring to third parties (such as, and this should not be treated as an exhaustive list, authors or collaborators in the project), the user must, prior to the communication or the transferring of this data to Everis Foundation, inform the aforementioned third parties about the content of this paragraph. The user guarantees that s/he has obtained the prior consent of these third parties for their personal details to be given to Everis Foundation.   

Quality and Updating of Data 
The user guarantees that the personal details given to Everis Foundation, via this web site, are true, correct, current and complete and s/he is responsible for informing Everis Foundation of any change or update to the aforementioned data.

From the time the user sends his/her personal details s/he is giving Everis Foundation his/her express permission to process, communicate and in the event, disseminate this data for the purposes stated above.

7: Communication of illegal and inappropriate activities

In the event that any user of the website should become aware that the hyperlinks link to pages the contents or services of which are illegal, harmful, libellous, violent or contrary to public morality may contact Everis Foundation providing the following details:
